Sue,
Dave and Kyle welcome
you
to
Larry's
Lodge
for
bed
and
breakfast
accommodation in
Keswick.
We are proud to offer a 4 Star status in our exclusively, non smoking bed and breakfast accommodation.
Our guest house was built of Cumbrian slate in a traditional
Lakeland style in about 1890 and is situated in quiet Eskin Street just a few
minutes walk away from Keswick town centre. Our bed and breakfast accommodation
is ideally situated for the
Theatre By The Lake and
Derwentwater, both are about 12 minutes walk from our front door. You can start
many of the walks around the hills from our accommodation while leaving your
car parked outside our house. All the twin and double
bedrooms in
Larry's Lodge guest accommodation are en-suite with the single room having
its own separate shower and bathroom. All the bedrooms benefit from central
heating and double glazing. Each bedroom includes a colour TV, radio alarm
clock and hot drinks facility with tea and coffee provided. Breakfast at Larry's
Lodge includes a specially prepared cooked breakfast with the cost of your
room.
Sue, Dave and Kyle are thrilled to tell you that Larry's Lodge received
a Highly Commended award for our front garden
in the small Guest House category of the Keswick in Bloom awards.
If you have any special diet requirements please let us know in advance.
Toast made from homemade bread with your breakfast.
We also offer a drying facility for wet boots and wet clothes.
Free "on street" parking for cars.
Dogs welcome by arrangement.
One of the houses that was used to
film Beatrix Potter, overlooks the Lake Derwentwater.
The Potter family actually stayed in this large Victoria
building which has private gardens and boat house. Although
not usually open to the public you can walk past the
house en route to Catbells or just a nice stroll around
the lake itself. You can take the ferry from the "landings" in
Keswick to Nicole End Marina, or just walk the short
distance from our house. A few links to other web sites
about Beatrix Potter can be found on our
Beatrix
Potter links page
