Larry decides to visit Catbells this month. Early one morning - 7:15am - we set off to climb this shapely hill!
Catbells, nearly there we decided to take a breather and admire the early morning view over Derwentwater and Keswick. Larry doesn't want to sit for too long so after a few moments we are on the move again.
Made it at last, after a few seconds of well earned rest Larry was off exploring, I had trouble keeping up with him. We both enjoyed the experience

Slate seat on the Cumbrian Way footpath is in memory of the Lakeland author Sir Hugh Walpole. His house where he wrote a few of his wonderful stories is just below throught the trees.
Larry and I walked back along the Cumbrian Way footpath which runs along part way down Catbells but follows the road.
